In the sidebar, select the disk you want to format to use with Windows computers. If Disk Utility isn’t open, click the Launchpad icon in the Dock, type Disk Utility in the Search field, then click the Disk Utility icon. Select the device, and press “Format Volume”, then Format. Browse to where the image is stored, then select the image file and click the Open button. Removable devices, such as flash drives, cannot be GPT partitioned and work with MacDrive. In Disk Utility, select Images, Scan Image for Restore. You can simply connect the disk to your computer, and MacDrive will be able to access the disk and assign it a drive letter.
